Zuke will fit over 80% of ski boots and ski bindings on the market. Zuke is a one-time attachment, when it's fitted, you never need to take it off again!
We are committed to making sure you are happy with your purchase, so we have set up a quick and simple two-step-check to ensure that Zuke fits your boots and bindings. These checks will only take a few moments, but please carry them out before making your purchase.
For Check 1, we need to make sure that Zuke is compatible with your ski boots.
Your ski boot will have a flat surface on each side of the front sole. This is highlighted in blue in the example image here. Zuke attaches onto these surfaces.
These surfaces must be at least 9mm high all the way along. To measure, place a ruler flat on the side of the boot as shown. Please check both sides of the boot. If both sides are equal or greater than 9mm, then Zuke will fit your boot. Please proceed to Check 2.
If the surfaces are less than 9mm high, we are sorry that this version of Zuke will not fit your boot.
For Check 2, we need to make sure that Zuke is compatible with your ski bindings.
There are two types of downhill ski bindings shown below; Adjustable Bindings, and Fixed Bindings.
Zuke will fit adjustable bindings. If you have these, you are finished with the checks and good to go.
Nearly all rental skiis use adjustable bindings, though you may want to check with your provider.
Zuke will fit some types of fixed bindings.
If you have fixed bindings, please see the Fixed Binding Check below to find out if Zuke is suitable for you.
This check is only required if you have fixed bindings.
When your boot is in the fixed binding, the gap between the bottom of the boot and the top of the ski must be more than or equal to 13mm. If so, then you are finished with the checks and Zuke will fit your binding.
If the gap is less than 13mm, then we are sorry that this version of Zuke will not fit your binding.
